Knights of the Plastic Playroom

Some of the best parts of being a mom of two imaginative boys
involve helping them set up plastic castles as the sun sinks into the skyline.
Carefully maneuvering a motorcyclist out of the way of tractors,
 in this medieval town.
Carefully launching attacks on unsuspecting foes at the castle gates,
and chaining the prisoner in the barricade; even if he is taller the the castle its self, not to mention from a completely different era.  This cowboy carry's a pistol holster ya 14th century barbarians!

Let me count the ways

Some days
I long for
things like this...
 Somma this....
 Somma that....
 A heaping of this....
 and finally...

ahhhh...
THIS!
For days on end.

Best Concert EVER

I have really, really awesome friends.  Who love have a slight obsession.  Like me.

 We get silly.

 We get thrilled.
 We get really outrageously giddy.

Beyond...um....silly.  Flat out weird, we are.

And then this....in the sky. THAT evening. It was the best!
 Not the best.
 Definitely the best.
 Heartbroken it had to end.

Dear John,
Please go on tour again.  We want to relive this night a million times.
Adoringly,
Your biggest fans ever.

Latte with Linky goes traveling

This past weekend I had the pleasure of selling some of my handmade items at a local craft fair for the holidays.  Busy shoppers, cheerful givers, sellers, creative companions.  Lots of beautiful items made by some remarkable people.

My dearest friend Corey of Life with Little Ones took a few snapshots of a few of my items.

In case you're curious...please do yourself a favor and visit The Sewing Blonde.  She made the most ridiculously adorable aprons and checkbook covers.  Her talent has no limits.
